Kriss Akabusi
This book tells the story of Kriss Akabusi, the record-breaking 400 metres hurdler and gold medallist. Born of Nigerian parents, Kriss was separated from them in early childhood and he and his younger brother were alternately cared for and mistreated by foster parents in England - an unhappy time which culminated in the two boys being found alone in Kings Cross station and taken into care.
