Children and Youth

 Children's Ministry

Encounter Youth Church is for children aged between 5 and 11 years. Sunday mornings are a mixture of Bible stories, songs, craft activities and games. The children take part in arts classes, learning drama, mime and dance and form part of our own Junior Gospel Choir. Apart from regular Bible-based lessons, invited speakers also teach about social issues such as road safety and the environment.

Youth Ministry

We have a growing ministry to young people aged 11 to 18 years. Rock Solid is open to all young people aged 11 to 14 in the local community. Young people are encouraged to play an active role in church life and in sharing God's love with others. Our youth worship team ministers at Celebrations and inter-church events, and travelled to South Africa to lead worship at a youth convention. They help run a breakfast kitchen feeding hundreds of street children.
