Five steps to getting involved

We recognise that for those joining us for the first time; it can sometimes seem a daunting task to work out how to get involved. A significant percentage of visitors often request further information on how to get involved in life at Temple of Praise. These five steps are meant as guide, as we recognise that different people will be at different positions along their journey of faith, and our responsibility at TOP is to enhance that process.

1. Take time to understand our Beliefs and Values, though listening to our CDs, looking at our publications and websites.
2. While it's great to attend our Celebrations on Sunday, and we will encourage you to continue to do so, do take time to attend other activities. This can only increase your appreciation of our values.
3. Commit your life to Christ Jesus as Lord and Saviour. TOP is totally God-centred, so you can only truly belong when you belong first to Him. If you have already done so. that's great, if not then we would love to support you through the process
4. Attend a TOP Membership Induction Course (MIC). It is recommended that you do Steps 1-3 before enrolling on the MIC. Children over 12 yrs old can become Junior Members. Younger children will need parental consent. You can add your name to the enrolment list available on the table in Reception any Sunday
5. Check out the list of Ministries and discuss which area you would wish to serve in with one of the Leadership Team members. The list of Ministries is part of the Membership Induction pack.

It is our prayer you will be able to complete this process and join the TOP Church family. We have the process outlined above valuable for both our friends visiting us for the first time and for ourselves in properly inducting them into the life of the Church.
