God wants us to tell our story (testimony) of His grace and salvation. We need to share this in church and especially outside the church eg in our workplace. .
In John 9, Jesus heals a man that was born blind. The man’s blindness was not due to his sin or that of his parents but it happened so that God’s works may be displayed in him. As a result of the miracle done, attention is drawn to him and this affords him the opportunity to tell his story. .
10”How then was your eyes opened?” they demanded. 11He replied, “The man they call Jesus made some mud and put it on my eyes. He told me to go to Siloam and wash. So I went and washed, and then I could see.” .
17Finally they turned again to the blind man, “What have you to say about him? It was your eyes he opened.” The man replied, “He is a prophet.” .
25He replied, “Whether he is a sinner or not, I don’t know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!” .
It was difficult for the people to refute his story of Divine healing. For him, as for so many others this work of Grace preceded his actual conversion. .
In Acts 21, 22, Paul the apostle tells his story of salvation to his fellow Jews. Before his conversion, he vehemently opposed Christians; killing some and arresting others. He then met with Jesus on his way to Damascus and was converted. Following this, he became a strong witness for Christ. .
